Motorists are being warned to stay away from floodwaters and look out for potential damage to roads.

Floodwaters are dangerous and deadly – even shallow, quick-flowing water is strong enough to sweep a person off their feet or a vehicle into flood waters.

If it’s flooded, no one should try and cross the road. It’s not worth it – stay safe and return home to loved ones unharmed.
