Delivery of new cards and other correspondence may be delayed over holiday closure period. Please retain your receipt as proof of driver licence/authority until your card is received. If After 21 days of your application or renewal date you haven’t received your card, you can contact us.

Please note: Online services, including licensing and registration services, will be unavailable 6-10pm Sunday, 26 January. This website may also be unavailable for a brief period during this time.

The Department of Transport and Main Roads Queensland values your feedback. We aim to respond as quickly as possible. In most cases, this will be within 15 working days. If your issue is complex or involves a human rights complaint, a more detailed investigation may be needed. This may take up to 45 working days and we will keep you informed of the progress, if needed.

Reporting a road incident or fault

Call 13 19 40 to report a road incident, hazard, pothole or signal fault. You can also use this number to ask for help if you've been involved in a minor traffic incident or breakdown on a major Queensland road.
