The Media Unit welcomes your questions, but due to the large volume of media enquiries we receive, it is not always possible to have face-to-face or phone interviews.
We are available on weekdays during business hours (8am-6pm) and require a minimum 4 hours’ notice to respond to media enquiries.
We are not staffed weekdays 6pm–8am, on weekends or public holidays. If you have an urgent enquiry during these times, please email [email protected] and we will prioritise your request.

- Maritime Safety Queensland: Information about boating, marine safety, vessel registration and Queensland waterways.
- Translink: Plan your journey and get information about public transport, including taxis.
Student media enquiry guidelines
Student requests should be submitted to the Media Unit in writing.
Please email [email protected] with specific questions at least 5 working days before your deadline. Please advise:
