Signage and artwork

For many years we have used Indigenous artwork to celebrate and acknowledge our First Nations Peoples. Our 'Travelling' artwork, designed by Gilimbaa is used throughout our department to signify our respect to the land and waterways in which we travel. We have also used Indigenous artwork in:

  • Customer Service Centre acknowledgement plaques
  • bilingual naming of the conference rooms in Bundaberg
  • purchasing First Nations artwork for the Brisbane CBD office at Mary Street
  • use of First Nations artwork on New Generation Rollingstock trains
  • First Nations artwork workshops
  • use of Sacred Seas Artwork by Maritime Safety Queensland
  • use of Connecting Thread artwork on the G:Link and Smart Ticketing validators
  • Welcome to Country roadside signage acknowledging Traditional Owner groups.
