Video transcript

The Transfutures internship program gave me the opportunity to complete my HR internship with Wagner's.

I was able to apply theory to real-world practices and was able to grow my shortcomings as I was mentored by industry professionals.

The Transfutures internship was a great way for me to start my career. I learned a lot about the industry from being hands-on in an operating business so early and making valuable connections.

Fast forward 10 years and I'm in a planning role supporting some of Australia's biggest export supply chains.

The Transfutures internship that I participated in at the port of Townsville was a great experience and I was able to utilize all the skills and knowledge that I gained from my uni degree and apply it within a professional business setting.

This experience proved to be incredibly important for my own career as I've since been able to secure full-time employment at the port since completing my internship.
