Properties for sale
When a project is completed or the decision is made not to progress a transport infrastructure project, we review the landholdings associated with that project. This process identifies surplus land and ensures proper management of land to be retained.
If property is identified as surplus to requirements, we progress the property to sale in accordance with the Queensland Government Land Transaction Policy (QGLTP).
The QGLTP establishes a whole-of-government property ownership and management framework for land transactions based on:
- openness and transparency
- defensibility
- streamlined decision-making
- best value for Queensland.
