Linemarking services
RoadTek delivers a range of linemarking services for roads, highways, hardstand areas, car parks and airports.
RoadTek delivers routine maintenance, new works and reseal/overlay road markings. Our services include offsetting, setting out, spotting, coding and marking, as well as removing existing lines and markings that are no longer required.
We provide all road surface delineation, including:
- longitudinal lines and transverse markings
- symbols and messages
- raised pavement markers
- airport linemarking
- skid-resistant markings
- thermoplastic linemarking
- cold applied plastic linemarking
- specialised markings (for example, wildlife corridors)
- audio-tactile markings
- coloured messages and markings
- retro-reflectivity readings
- skid resistance testing and line removal.
We also partner with our customers and industry to provide expert technical advice and management services on all aspects of linemarking, including:
- network management and performance monitoring
- conformance auditing
- subcontractor management
- assistance in reviewing the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices, Australian standards, TMR specifications, industry standards and best practice.
Minimising our environmental impact is a key priority to RoadTek. Some of the ways we ensure we care for the environment include using water-based paints, improved materials handling and state-of-the-art wash down and run-off capture facilities.
Our linemarking centres in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Rockhampton, Wide Bay, Sunshine Coast, Cairns, Mackay, Townsville and Toowoomba provide coverage across all parts of Queensland’s road network.
Equipment
RoadTek runs a number of high quality linemarking machines and other equipment, including:
- ‘walk behind’ and small ‘ride-on’ machines
- thermoplastic screed machines
- long-life product machines
- cold Applied Plastic machines (CAP)
- hot melt glue applicator;
- line spotting rig
- line grinder
- truck mounted longline marking machines (1,000 litre capacity)
- medium-range linemarking machines (400 litre capacity).
We upgrade our equipment based on industry best practice and are constantly researching, developing, testing and implementing new technology.
