What software do I need to use the reporting forms?

You need to have Microsoft Excel 2007 or later to open and use the reporting forms. The forms won't work properly on other types of software, such as Apple Numbers, WPS Spreadsheets or Open Office Calc.

What happens if I've only got a Mac, iPad or iPhone?

The reporting forms will not work on Macs, MacBooks, iPads, iPhones and some other mobile devices. This is because the operating systems on these devices do not support the macros in the forms.

If you don't have access to a different computer and you have five or fewer affiliated vehicles, please contact PT_Data_Reporting@tmr.qld.gov.au to request an alternative version of the forms.

To use the alternative version, you will still need Microsoft Excel on your device.

Do I have to use the Transport Main Roads reporting forms?

Yes, you must use the quarterly and annual reporting forms from TMR. Reports in other formats won't be accepted.

Each quarter, TMR will supply BEA holders with the reporting form/s for the quarter. In Q4 each year, BEA holders will also receive the annual reporting form/s.

Reporting forms are available year-round from the data keeping and reporting webpage.

What details do I need for the reporting coversheet?

When you receive your reporting form/s from TMR, the BEA name and number will already be filled-in on the coversheet.
If you use the reporting forms from the data keeping and reporting webpage, you need to enter the BEA name and number in the coversheet before submitting the report to TMR.

You can find these details in the Booking Entity Authorisation that was e-mailed or mailed to the contact person nominated in the BEA application. You can also search for these details on the Personalised Transport Public Register.
