Boundary Road (Coopers Plains) rail level crossing

Overview:

The Department of Transport and Main Roads is undertaking a Planning Study to investigate options to reduce congestion and address safety concerns at the Boundary Road level crossing at Coopers Plains.

Coopers Plains.

Benefits:

The planning study will investigate options to provide:

  • improved and more reliable travel times for rail and road users
  • reduced congestion for all road users
  • improved safety and access for all road users.
Funding:

TMR has committed $800,000 to deliver the study.

TMR will work closely with the local community, including Brisbane City Council who are responsible for Boundary Road, throughout the study’s delivery. 

The following consultation opportunities are available to interested residents, businesses and road users. Feedback received by 15 February 2019 will inform the options identified through the Planning Study.
