The upgrade from Armstrong Road to Stubbins Street will include pavement widening and strengthening and raising of the Belivah Creek floodway. This upgrade will increase safety for motorists and improve flood immunity for the community.

Funding

The Queensland Government has allocated $10 million to upgrade Beaudesert-Beenleigh Road from Armstrong Road to Stubbins Street at Belivah/Bannockburn. This new road funding boost forms part of the Queensland Economic Recovery Strategy: Unite and recover for Queensland Jobs.

Current status

We are currently in the planning phase of upgrading Beaudesert–Beenleigh Road between Armstrong Road and Stubbins Street which will increase safety for motorists and improve flood immunity. Construction is programmed for the 2021-22 financial year.
