Beaudesert-Beenleigh Road (Belivah), Armstrong Road to Stubbin Street

The planned upgrade from Armstrong Road to Stubbin Street will include pavement widening and resurfacing, wide centre line treatments, improvements to the Armstrong Road intersection, raising of the Belivah Creek floodway and allowances for fauna movements.

This upgrade will increase safety for motorists and improve flood immunity for the community.

The Queensland Government has allocated $10 million to upgrade Beaudesert-Beenleigh Road from Armstrong Road to Stubbin Street at Belivah. This road funding boost forms part of the Queensland Economic Recovery Strategy: Unite and recover for Queensland Jobs. Investment ID 1650314

Current status

Design is underway for the upgrade of Beaudesert–Beenleigh Road between Armstrong Road and Stubbin Street. This upgrade will increase safety for motorists and improve flood immunity. TMR will continue to engage with and seek feedback from key stakeholders and residents to inform the design.

Design is expected to be completed by late 2021. Construction is programmed to start in early 2022.
