Bicentennial Bikeway, Kurilpa Bridge to Victoria Bridge, design active transport upgrades
The Queensland Government is delivering the design for an upgraded link for bicycle riders and pedestrians between Kurilpa Bridge and Victoria Bridge on the Bicentennial Bikeway.
The Bicentennial Bikeway, Kurilpa Bridge to Victoria Bridge, design active transport upgrades project will improve safety and connectivity along the Brisbane River and to the Brisbane Central Business District for all users.

Key features
- Separated pedestrian and bicycle facilities to improve user safety and increase capacity on the Bicentennial Bikeway.
- An upgraded ramp to North Quay at Ann Street to improve accessibility to the Bicentennial Bikeway and surrounding network.
- New stairs to North Quay at Ann Street to reduce interactions between riders and pedestrians wishing to access the Central Business District.
- New lighting, CCTV, and public address systems to improve user safety and comfort.
- Landscaping treatments and wayfinding signage to create a visually appealing area and assist in navigating the active transport network.
Funding
The design is fully funded by the Queensland Government through the Active Transport Investment Program. Investment ID 2393196.
Funding for construction will be subject to future funding availability in consideration of competing statewide priorities.
