Booral Road and Boundary Road (Urangan), intersection upgrade
The Queensland Government is upgrading the Booral Road and Boundary Road intersection at Urangan to improve safety and capacity by:
- replacing the existing T-intersection with a single-lane, 3-leg roundabout
- realigning the Booral Road and Walkers Road intersection to the south with left in, left out only movements
- installing concrete medians and pedestrian crossings on roundabout approaches
- installing an off-road shared bike and pedestrian path on Booral Road and Boundary Road to connect with road crossings at the intersection.
