The Maroochydore Road and Mons Road Interchanges project is being delivered as part of the Bruce Highway Upgrade Program to improve safety, ease congestion and cater for future traffic growth.
Bruce Highway (Innisfail – Cairns) and Munro street (Babinda) intersection upgrade
A project is progressing to upgrade the intersection of the Bruce Highway and Munro Street at Babinda.
Extensive consultation has been conducted in the planning phase of the project with all the community feedback considered in the final design of the intersection. The project will improve safety for all road users and offers economic benefits for the community through improved travel reliability.
