Chermside Bus Layover, Gympie Road and Murphy Road intersection, construct bus facilities
The Queensland Government has improved public transport access and efficiency in Brisbane's northern corridor by delivering the Chermside Bus Layover.
Constructed on the land at the western side of the Gympie Road and Murphy Road intersection, the Chermside Bus Layover supports the current and future operational needs of Brisbane's public transport network by improving safety and efficiency, and minimising interaction with general traffic and pedestrian movements.
It also provides buses with a location to park during special event shuttles, rather than on local roads.
