Cleveland - Redland Bay Road, Anita Street to Double Jump Road, duplicate lanes
The Queensland Government is upgrading Cleveland-Redland Bay Road, between Anita Street and Double Jump Road, in Redland Bay.
This includes planning, detailed design and construction of a dual carriageway between Anita Street and Double Jump Road, signalisation of the Cleveland-Redland Bay Road and Double Jump Road intersection, and improved active transport facilities, including shared pathways for bike riders and pedestrians.

Current status
Previous plans for Cleveland-Redland Bay Road upgrades included lane duplication from Anita Street through to Giles Road. To maximise key improvements and cost certainty while minimising community disruption, the next phase of works will focus on the section between Anita Street to Double Jump Road. Enabling works are currently expected to commence in late 2027, subject to federal environmental approvals.
Land acquisition, utility relocations and environmental approvals will continue to support future duplication between Double Jump Road and Giles Road as part of a separate future project.
