David Low Way cycle facility
On-road bicycle lanes are being constructed to improve safety at Marcoola and Mudjimba.
Stage 1 between Mudjimba Esplanade and Keith Royal Drive was completed in 2017.
Stage 2 to construct a northbound bicycle lane between Airport Drive and Mudjimba Esplanade and a pedestrian refuge was completed in December 2020.
Stage 3 to design an on-road southbound bicycle lane between Airport Drive and Mudjimba Esplanade commenced in January 2021 with detailed design expected to be complete late 2021.
