Deception Bay, Bay Avenue and Moreton Downs Drive intersection, safety improvements

Safety improvements to the intersection of Deception Bay, Bay Avenue and Moreton Downs Drive intersection, Deception Bay.

The planned safety improvements will signalise the left-turn lanes. These improvements also include the introduction of single-stage pedestrian crossings at each leg of the intersection, offering a direct and safer crossing path for pedestrians.

The program is a key component of the Queensland Government’s commitment to improving road safety through implementing high benefit, cost effective, road engineering treatments to address known and potential crash locations on the state-controlled road network.
