Glass House Mountains Road (Steve Irwin Way) and Caloundra Street intersection upgrade
Construction is complete for safety improvements to the Glass House Mountains Road (known locally as Steve Irwin Way) and Caloundra Street intersection, Landsborough.
Construction works included new traffic signals at the Glass House Mountains Road and Caloundra Street intersection to manage the increasing volume of traffic entering and exiting both Caloundra Street and Forestry Road and to reduce the frequency of crashes at this location.
The new intersection also includes new signalised pedestrian crossings and lighting upgrades to improve pedestrian safety.
