Maryborough-Hervey Bay Road intersection upgrades and safety works – Noble Road, Stockman Way and Sunnyside Drive
The Maryborough–Hervey Bay Road intersection upgrades and safety works involved upgrading the Noble Road, Stockman Way and Sunnyside Drive intersections at Susan River to improve safety for all road users.
Dedicated turning lanes were added to all 3 intersections to separate through and turning traffic, reducing the likelihood of nose-to-tail crashes.

- Dedicated left and right turning lanes and lighting have been installed along Maryborough–Hervey Bay Road at the Noble Road intersection to improve safety for turning vehicles.
This upgrade is one of 71 projects across Queensland funded under the Road Safety Program (RSP) to address identified road safety issues that contribute to vehicle crashes.
The works are jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland governments as part of the $511.5 million Road Safety Program (RSP) in Queensland.
