Current status

The project is currently in the evaluation phase.

In August and September 2024, we delivered community engagement activities seeking feedback on the preliminary reference design.

Feedback on the preliminary reference design will inform further design development for the project. We will keep the community updated on outcomes and opportunity for further input as we progress through future design stages.

In October 2025, following the conclusion of a 2-stage expressions of interest process, participants were selected for the early contractor involvement phase.

We expect to award a contract for the design and construction of the New Albion Station shortly.
