Redland Bay Road, Taylor Road to Cleveland Redland Bay Road, planning study

The department is undertaking planning for Mount Cotton Road, Redland Bay Road and the Redland Sub-Arterial Road, including the Double Jump Road, Ney Road and Taylor Road intersections.

The department is planning upgrades to key intersections and improvements to several key state controlled sub-arterial road corridors within the Redland City Council and Brisbane City Council areas, including:

  • Mount Cotton Road (from Duncan Road to Double Jump Road)
  • Redland Bay Road (from Tingalpa Creek to Cleveland-Redland Bay Road)
  • Redland Sub-Arterial Road (from Mount Gravatt-Capalaba Road to Tingalpa Creek)

The planning projects are working to identify improvements that once funded and delivered, will ensure the corridors can accommodate the needs of all transport users as they make safe and reliable journeys along these key corridors.

Current status

Consultation on the Redland Bay Road, Taylor Road to Cleveland-Redland Bay Road, planning study closed on 12 March 2023. Analysis of community feedback is underway.
