Richmond - Winton Road, strengthen and widen pavement
The department will improve all weather access, travel reliability and safety along the Richmond – Winton Road by widening and strengthening this section of the road.
This project adds to our long-term strategy to upgrade and seal significant roads in north Queensland, supporting regional communities and industries. The works will widen, strengthen and upgrade 10.3km of priority sections along Richmond – Winton Road. Flood immunity will be improved by progressively sealing 5.6km of unsealed road and replacing drainage structures and floodways.

Current status
