Springfield Central station, Sir Lew Edwards Drive park 'n' ride

A new multi-storey park ‘n’ ride is being built to service Springfield Central station.

The Springfield Central station park 'n' ride will create more parking spaces for the Springfield Central station. It will also improve safety and security for people in and around the station precinct, featuring 24-hour access, elevators, additional accessible parking spaces close to the station and greater security through CCTV and lighting.

The Queensland Government has committed $44.5 million to deliver the multi-storey park 'n' ride at Springfield Central station, with around 1,100 park 'n' ride spaces across the precinct once completed.

Current status

We are currently undertaking construction of the multi-storey carpark.

The installation of the tower crane signals a shift in project phases, moving from ground works to construction of the new multi-storey facility.

The construction tender was awarded to ADCO Construction Pty Ltd in late September 2020.
