Tewantin Bypass Stage 1, Cooroy-Noosa Road and Beckmans Road intersection upgrade

A new, 2-lane roundabout is being delivered to ease congestion, improve safety and traffic flow at the Cooroy-Noosa Road and Beckmans Road intersection.

This project is Stage 1 of the Tewantin Bypass.

Design and construction are being undertaken by Noosa Shire Council through a funding agreement with the Department of Transport and Main Roads.

Current status

Preliminary works to relocate water infrastructure from mid-August 2021 will prepare for main construction to start in late 2021, weather and construction scheduling permitting.
