Yandina—Coolum Road, South Coolum Road and School Road, upgrade roundabout
Construction for a project to replace the roundabout with a signalised intersection has been completed.
The primary objective of the upgraded intersection is to improve pedestrian safety by installing three new signalised pedestrian crossings on Yandina–Coolum Road, South Coolum Road, and School Road. Students attending Coolum State School, other pedestrians and bike riders can now cross this busy intersection more safely.

- Installed new dedicated left-turn and right-turn lanes from Yandina—Coolum Road into South Coolum Road and School Road.
- Installed a new dedicated through lane on Yandina—Coolum Road.
- Widened the pavement to incorporate these traffic modifications.
- Installed bike lanes.
- Updated signage and linemarking.
