Caboolture-Bribie Island Road, Old Toorbul Point Road to Saint Road

The Department of Transport and Main Roads has started detailed design for the duplication of Caboolture-Bribie Island Road between Old Toorbul Point Road and Saint Road, including signalisation of the Volz Road intersection.

The upgrade will improve safety, ease congestion and improve traffic flow for motorists travelling on Caboolture-Bribie Island Road. 

This project forms part of the Bribie Island Road Upgrade Strategy which outlines the Queensland Government's long-term plan to upgrade the road to provide a 4-lane, median-divided cross section for the length of the corridor.

Current status
