Carnarvon Highway (Mungindi – St George) – pavement widening

We are delivering pavement widening works along a 3km section of the Carnarvon Highway approximately 33km east of St George.

The works will be delivered through the Regional Economic Enabling Fund (REEF), a package of works that will deliver targeted upgrades to many roads across regional Queensland in response to COVID-19. REEF will deliver progressive sealing, pavement strengthening and widening and bridge and floodway upgrades, providing remote communities with more employment opportunities and better connecting people to other vital services.
