Pacific Motorway, Exit 41, upgrade interchange

The Yatala South (Exit 41) interchange upgrade will deliver significant improvements in safety and traffic flow by keeping traffic moving through the improved interchange and thereby reducing queuing.

The project will deliver a number of safety benefits to motorists using the M1 and the surrounding local road network, including Lahrs Road, Eastern Service Road, Computer Road and Cuthbert Drive.

The upgrade will improve traffic flow and increase efficiency at the interchange and improve reliability of access conditions for freight movements and transit times for all motorway users.

The project will improve traffic flow through the interchange by including a new bridge across the M1 with additional lanes, the upgrade of roundabouts to traffic signals and the relocation of on-ramps and off-ramps.
