Smiths Gap overtaking lane
We are progressing a project to build a southbound overtaking lane at Smiths Gap on the Bruce Highway. The project includes the construction of a fauna crossing over the road.
TMR will also undertake survey and complete a detailed cost estimate for a northbound overtaking lane and fauna crossing. This survey will also determine the preferred location of the northbound overtaking lane. Construction of the northbound overtaking lane is currently unfunded.
