Mount Lindesay Highway Rosia Road to Stoney Camp Road

Overview:

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is upgrading the Mount Lindesay Highway between Rosia and Stoney Camp Roads at Park Ridge South.

The upgrade will involve widening the highway to 4 lanes between Rosia Road and Stoney Camp Road and improving the on-ramp at Stoney Camp Road and the off-ramp at Granger Road.

Location:

Park Ridge South.

Benefits:

The upgrade will improve safety and efficiency on this section of the highway.

Funding:
The $20 million upgrade is funded by the Queensland Government as outlined in the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program 2019-20 to 2022-23.

Project info

The Mount Lindesay Highway Rosia Road to Stoney Camp Road Upgrade will involve:

  • widening the highway alignment to 4 lanes
  • upgrading the highway’s water run-off infrastructure
  • upgrading the on-ramp at Stoney Camp Road and the off-ramp at Granger Road
  • safety improvements including upgrading the barriers. 

Further safety upgrades of the Mount Lindesay Highway will be delivered in priority stages as funding becomes available. 

Key milestones

  • Mid-2018 to late 2019: Detailed design and community consultation
  • Late 2019: Start construction
  • Early 2021: Complete construction
