Department of Transport and Main Roads Annual Report 2021–22

The Department of Transport and Main Roads Annual Report describes the department’s achievements, performance, outlook and financial position for the reporting year against the Strategic Plan. It is a key accountability document and is the main way the department reports on its performance to Parliament and the community.

Publishing the annual report also ensures that the department meets its legislative requirements under the Financial Accountability Act 2009 and the Financial and Performance Management Standard 2019.

Open data

A number of annual reporting requirements have been published online through the Queensland Government Open Data portal including:

  • consultancies
  • Queensland Language Services Policy 
  • School Transport Operator payments.

An overseas travel expenditure report for the 2021–22 reporting year was not required due to overseas travel not being undertaken by any officers from the Department of Transport and Main Roads.
