Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail
We're connecting our growing communities with more frequent and reliable train services between Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
Holmview station is being upgraded as part of the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail project.
The new station will be relocated north of its existing location, improving flood immunity and ensuring greater reliability of future services.
The Spanns Road and Holmview Road level crossings will be removed, improving safety and traffic congestion with new pedestrian overpasses and local road upgrades to maintain connectivity for the local community.
The Holmview station precinct upgrade will provide:
The level crossings at Holmview Road and Spanns Road in Beenleigh will be closed.
A new road connection will link Holmview Road to Chapman Drive to maintain local access.
A new pedestrian and cycling connection will provide access over the rail corridor in the vicinity of Houdini terrace.
The southern side will be converted to a cul-de-sac.
A new pedestrian overpass will provide improved access to both sides of the rail corridor.
The updated design for the Holmview station precinct is now available, and we want your feedback.
