Loganlea Station relocation and park 'n' ride expansion

We are undertaking detailed planning to identify the best location for the new Loganlea Station.

Loganlea Station is an important transport hub that helps the surrounding community connect to South East Queensland (SEQ). With nearby core health, education and community services, a safe and accessible station location is vital for those who live, visit and work in the area.

The Australian Government and Queensland Government are exploring ways to relocate and improve the Loganlea Station and Park 'n' Ride facility to ensure it can accommodate future growth and deliver the most benefit to the community.

The Gold Coast and Beenleigh rail lines form a crucial part of the Brisbane to Gold Coast transport corridor and play a vital role in supporting the economic viability of the wider SEQ region.

Preliminary planning has identified that rail infrastructure upgrades are required on the Brisbane to Gold Coast rail corridor, particularly between Kuraby and Beenleigh, to meet future passenger demand. The station relocation has been identified as a key requirement for capacity improvement in this rail corridor. Master planning for the area has also identified the station relocation as a key enabler for improving integration with surrounding land uses such as Logan Hospital, Loganlea TAFE, and Loganlea State High School.
