Woodridge station precinct upgrade

The Woodridge station precinct is being upgraded as part of the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail project to improve accessibility, safety and customer experience.

The updated design elevates the station, providing street-level public access across the rail corridor, significantly improving safety and local connectivity. New lifts and stairs will be provided to the station, as well as a consolidated park ‘n’ ride on Railway Parade.

The design has been further developed by the ActivUs Alliance following initial design work this year and incorporating feedback from prior community and stakeholder consultation.

As part of the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail project, we will remove the Trinder Crossing level crossing between Railway Parade and Station Road, Woodridge.

Trinder Crossing level crossing removal

We are removing the Trinder Crossing level crossing between Railway Parade and Station Road, Woodridge. A new road-over-rail bridge will be constructed approximately 600m north (closer to the new Trinder Park station) at Acacia Road and a realigned Railway Parade, with new local road connections through to Smith Road.

Walking and cycling connections will also be provided at Smith Road, Railway Parade and Acacia Road as well as across the rail corridor.
