If you apply to be an approved person, you will be assessed on your industry experience and qualifications and your suitability to perform the functions of an approved person.

As an approved person, you have legal responsibilities you must exercise with due care and diligence.

Your approved person accreditation is granted for up to 3 years. You will need to renew your approved person accreditation to continue your accreditation.

If your details have changed you must notify the Approved Person Scheme Administrator within 14 days of the change.
If your approved person accreditation document is damaged, lost or stolen, you must organise a replacement within 14 days of the change.
You can surrender your accreditation if you no longer want to be an approved person.
