Action 1.8: Develop and publish an interactive map of cycling infrastructure projects and initiatives funded by the Active Transport Investment Program.

Achievements

The annual Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP) publication outlines the current and planned investment in road and transport infrastructure over a 4 year period.

All projects published in the QTRIP are now visible in an interactive online tool. This includes all major active transport infrastructure projects we fund, specifically:

• Cycle Network Local Government Grants projects valued over $250,000 
• Department of Transport and Main Roads dedicated cycling infrastructure projects valued at over $600,000.

The online tool allows the community, industry and government to self-serve data about our investment focus over the coming years. 

Users can drill down to a listing of projects by geographic region, local government area or indicative total budget. 

Next steps

We will monitor feedback from users of the QTRIP publication and online tool to identify future opportunities for expanding or improving the active transport project data available.
